And Moses said to the Lord “…I can’t carry all these people by myself! The load is far too heavy!” Then the Lord said to Moses, “…I will take some of the Spirit that is upon you, and I will put the Spirit upon them also. They will bear the burden of the people along with you, so you will not have to carry it alone.” – Numbers 11: 14;17

In our society, it is very common for people to feel like they have too much on their plates.

Many of us carry too much responsibility at work, and we have too many responsibilities at home as well.

And in addition to that, we have too many friends and family members who need us to be emotionally and sometimes physically available for them.

That’s why there’s been such a huge emphasis placed on taking care of our mental health lately.

Which is very important because mental health should never be minimized.

But what do you do when the load feels like it’s about to break your back and you can’t escape it?

You give it to God, of course!

Taking your burdens to God shouldn’t be minimized either.

When you go to God in prayer and lay everything out, God will find a way to lighten your load.

He may move a friend or relative to call you out of the blue and offer help.

He may plant an idea in your mind to help you delegate tasks to others.

Or He might just give you more strength and energy to be able to manage everything.

He’s definitely got the power to help you, so never underestimate God’s ability to supernaturally influence your situation.

When you feel overwhelmed, take a step back, pray, and wait for God to give you relief.

He’s always standing ready to help you.

Be blessed,

Alexia
