Put all your rebellion behind you, and find yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O people of Israel? I don’t want you to die, says the Sovereign Lord. Turn back and live! – Ezekiel 18: 31-32

There was a time in my life when I behaved just like the Israelites.

I didn’t want to commit my whole life to Christ because I wanted to experiment and explore different spiritual practices.

I thought there had to be more to life than the Bible and Jesus.

But as I continued to seek, the Holy Spirit revealed Himself to me and showed me that my way wasn’t getting me anywhere.

I found that my way didn’t make me a kinder person, or more forgiving, loving, understanding, compassionate, humble, etc.

I was just stuck in a place where I was constantly unsure and searching.

And I wasn’t full of life and joy.

But anyone who has been around me in the past few years since I fully submitted to God’s will through Christ can attest that a wonderful change has occurred within me.

And it’s all because of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Any good that comes to or through me is from Him. I can’t take any credit for anything.

So if you’re reading this and you feel unsure or you’ve strayed away from Christ, I want to encourage you to turn to Him and lean in close.

Because He has so much life to give you if you would only accept Him.

Be blessed,

Alexia

Sinner’s Prayer to Accept Christ: God, I confess that I am a sinner and I need Jesus in my life. I repent of my sins and turn to You. I believe that Jesus is Your Son, that He died on the cross for my sins, that He was buried, and that He rose from the dead. I accept this by faith. I invite Jesus to be Lord of my life, to reign and rule in my heart. Thank you, Lord for forgiving me and saving me. Amen.

If you have prayed this prayer by faith, welcome to the family of God!
