The only thing worse than rushing into things blindly is going through analysis paralysis.

We all like to pride ourselves on making prudent and sound decisions.

We want to do our due diligence before we start a project, purchase car, buy a home, etc. because we don’t want to deal with consequences down the line for lack of research and preparation.

But if we overthink every little thing, we’ll never get anywhere!

After a certain point, analyzing can spill over into sinful territory because it shows that we think we’re in control when we’re not.

We have to trust that if God put a plan in our hearts, He will see it through even if the circumstances aren’t “perfect.”

There comes a time when we have to relinquish control and take a leap of faith.

Even when all the conditions look favorable and we think everything is lined up perfectly, there’s gonna be something that goes wrong.

So when we’ve prepared to the best of our ability, we have to ask God for direction and just go for the gold.

Because life is way too short to be trapped in a maze of overthinking.

God is always going to compensate for the areas where we lack.

Be blessed,

Alexia

Prayer: God, I’m trying to do what it takes to be successful and I’m trying to make wise decisions, but I’m stuck in analysis paralysis and I don’t know how to get out. I submit myself to you right now because I know that all the preparation in the world can’t compare to your foresight and knowledge. I humbly ask you to guide me as I take concrete steps to execute my plans. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
