There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death. – Proverbs 14: 12
We humans love to justify our thoughts and actions.
We think that because we make a decision that seems sensible in our own minds, then it’s right.
We behave arrogantly, as though we have all the answers and always know what’s best.
When the truth is that we don’t.
We don’t have a perfect comprehension of what’s good, just, and right at all times.
We can’t fathom how one seemingly small decision we make today will cause a ripple effect for generations.
That’s why every day that we’re blessed to wake up, we must ask our Father for direction.
We must humble ourselves and ask Him, “God, what steps do you want me to take today? How do you want me to approach the challenges I’m facing?”
Because when we walk through life thinking we have everything under control and we don’t need the Holy Spirit to guide us, we will find ourselves walking straight into the darkness of death.
We must recognize that this life isn’t our show.
We didn’t put any atoms or molecules together to make ourselves or anything that we see.
God is the One who has supreme knowledge, so we need to stop proclaiming “I’m living my truth.”
Only Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
So in everything we do, we must acknowledge Him, and allow Him to direct our paths.
Because only His path leads to eternal life.
Be blessed,

Amen 🙏🏾 Alexia!! I pray everyday for God to lead my path. I wake up each morning expecting what He has for me and surrendering my will to be in control so that He can guide me.
