After that, he taught daily in the Temple, but the leading priests, the teachers of religious law, and the other leaders of the people began planning how to kill him. -Luke 19: 47

Isn’t it amazing that Jesus never stumbled in His ministry?

Even when He knew that the elders were plotting to kill Him, He never took a day off. He kept teaching and sharing the Good News up until the very end.

He never once faltered when the Pharisees verbally attacked Him.

He knew exactly what the Father’s will for His life was, and He lived it.

And if we’re to be Christ-like, we have to aim to show up every day the way He did.

We have to keep our hearts and eyes open to share the Gospel with people who need to hear it, no matter what challenges we may face or what forces may be coming against us.

Like Jesus, we have to keep our eyes on the eternal promise of the Kingdom and on living in God’s will.

Because when we do, God will strengthen us and empower us to stand fearless in His name as we lead others into His heavenly Kingdom.

Be blessed,

Alexia

Prayer: God, strengthen me and empower me daily to do your will. Whether I feel attacked, heartbroken, tired, or anything else, help me to see that your Kingdom is what I should look to for inspiration. Give me a heart that always seeks to minister to those who are lost and need you in their lives, just like your son Jesus. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
