“Don’t believe me unless I carry out my Father’s work. But if I do his work, believe in the evidence of the miraculous works I have done, even if you don’t believe me. Then you will know and understand that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father.” – John 10: 37-38.

Every time I read about the miracles Jesus performed, I’m blown away.

Because no one could have conceived of the out-of-this-world things He did – not even in their wildest imaginations.

Turning water into wine?

Feeding 5,000 people with a few loaves of bread?

Walking on water?

Making the lame walk?

Making men born blind see?

Raising people from the dead?

Who could possibly come up with phenomena like that?

Not a human being, that’s for sure!

Throughout all time and all cultures, who else has performed the types of miracles that Jesus performed? Nobody.

And the cool thing is that we have evidence that Jesus was alive and walked the earth.

We have historical records and eye witness accounts.

So if we ever have trouble believing that Jesus is the Son of God, all we have to do is meditate on His marvelous works and His profound teachings of love.

Then we will understand in our hearts that Jesus Himself was a miracle sent by God to help us live right and have faith.

And He’s indeed the greatest miracle that humankind has ever known.

Be blessed,

Alexia

Prayer: God, whenever I feel down or hopeless, help me to remember all the miraculous works you performed through your Son Jesus Christ. If I am ever in doubt, please send your Holy Spirit to comfort me and fill me with conviction and understanding of your limitless power. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
