We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. – Colossians 1: 9-10

In Roman’s 12: 16, Apostle Paul emphatically tells the Gentiles of Rome,

Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!

That is such a profound statement because no matter how many times we read the Bible from cover to cover, go to church, pray, and fast, there will still be loads of room within us for spiritual growth.

Nobody is all-knowing and all-wise. And nobody is an expert in God, but God Himself.

So we must understand that we’re only able to grow at all because God nourishes our roots with His everlasting water.

And we’ll be growing for the rest of our lives, no matter how long we live, as long as we stay connected to His Word and His Son.

Isn’t that exciting? That the more we get to know God, the more He will make us bloom and blossom?

With each passing year, we will get new insights, new revelations, new breakthroughs, new eyes, and new hearts.

It should be a comfort to us to know that we will always have something positive to look forward to in life when we walk with God.

With every step we take toward Him, more and more fruit will ripen within us.

Be blessed,

Alexia

Prayer: God, help me to truly grow in your Spirit and give me a heart that is constantly in awe of your power and wisdom. I want to get to know you better, so I pray that you would move closer to me as I take steps to move closer to you. With each passing day of my life, water me and nurture me so I will continue to produce wonderful fruit. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
