Yet Jerusalem says, “The Lord has deserted us; the Lord has forgotten us.” “Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you!” – Isaiah 49: 14-15

Anyone who’s gone to my church recently knows that my pastor’s favorite praise song is “Goodness of God.”

And one line that really speaks to me in that song is: Your goodness is running after me.

Because it’s so true!

God is constantly running after us to teach us, encourage us, bless us, heal us, and love us.

His love stretches wider, higher, and deeper than any human love that we can experience.

He loves us more than our own mothers and fathers have the capacity to love us.

So when we’re feeling low or uncertain, we should always know without a shadow of a doubt that the one true living God loves us more than we can comprehend.

And He will never stop loving us.

His love for us is eternal, so it’s impossible for Him to ever forget about us.

Be blessed,

Alexia

Prayer: God, thank you for your unconditional love and your refusal to desert me. You give me undeserved and unearned love every day, so please relieve my mind of any doubts when they arise. Teach me to trust wholeheartedly in your character and in your promises. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
