But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. – Isaiah 40: 31.

Have you ever felt like a hamster running on a wheel?

Like you’re moving and doing the best you can, but you don’t feel like you’re making any real progress and you’re just plain tired?

Well, you’re definitely not alone!

We all grow a little weary sometimes.

But when our movement is connected to a higher purpose and we trust God to give us direction when we ask, He will propel us to places we wouldn’t be able to go to on our own strength.

When we trust Him, He will recharge our batteries, fill up our energy tanks, and give us the vision we need to keep going.

That’s what allows a single mother of two to earn a Ph.D. while working a part-time job or an abused child who moved from foster home to foster home to become a happy, well-adjusted adult.

When we lean into God’s will, He will fill us with His supernatural strength when we have none left.

In our weakness, He will cause us to soar like eagles and run for miles and miles without getting weary.

Because our God is a powerful and miraculous God!

Be blessed,

Alexia

Prayer: Lord, in my weariness and weakness, be the strength that sustains me through difficult times. Help me to not rely on myself, but on you and your power. Help me to move forward with power so that others will observe my drive and give you the glory. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.

This is a key scripture for me that I absolutely love. Day to day I see this power in me, even in the little things. It’s such a blessing knowing that His strength empowers me each and every day!
