In our society, we don’t like to talk too much about the supernatural.

When we think of supernatural phenomena, we typically think of horror movies and TV shows about haunted houses.

Most people would rather just block those terrifying thoughts altogether.

But God is a supernatural God, and we can’t truly call ourselves believers and followers of Jesus Christ if we don’t believe in the supernatural. It’s just not possible.

So anytime we ever experience any moments of doubt or uncertainty about God’s power, we should reflect on some of the people in the Bible who were completely petrified and paralyzed by God’s supernatural presence.

People like Moses, Gideon, Samson’s father Manoah, and Mary when she saw the angel Gabriel.

Then we should think about how traumatized we would be if we saw something that wasn’t supposed to be a part of our normal human experience.

And we should take the Bible’s Word for it!

God is real, and His son Jesus was a real human being who came to earth and performed real supernatural miracles.

Thomas believed in Jesus’ resurrection because he saw Him, but how blessed is the person who doesn’t have to see to believe!

When we truly believe, we have peace in knowing that God’s going to make everything alright.

When we truly believe, we don’t have to mourn so deeply when our loved ones pass away because we know we will see them again in heaven.

When we truly believe, we don’t have to fear anyone because we know God has all the power.

So if you have any doubts at all about God and Jesus right now, I’m graciously asking you to squash them.

Do yourself a favor and just believe!

Be blessed,

Alexia

Amen Alexia!! This is so true!! I’ll never forget the day God truly gave me revelation that our spiritual and physical worlds are totally connected!! What we experience in the physical is manifested in the spiritual realm as well. It had given me a fresh perspective to open my eyes and pay closer attention. I truly believe! Even in times when I’m sitting alone I can feel a presence.. and although I can’t truly wrap my mind around it all to be able to completely understand – I trust and know that God is with me!
