Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do His will. And I know that I will not be put to shame. -Isaiah 50:7
Sometimes I sit back and wonder why God chose the prophets He chose to deliver His message.
What was so unique about Isaiah that made God single him out among all the other men?
Well, from what Scripture tells us, it seems to be because he had a genuine love and reverence for God and an unshakable faith.
He trusted God with his whole heart and knew without a shadow of a doubt that God would make him victorious and that God’s way was right.
So like Isaiah, our modus operandi in life must be driven by our understanding of who God is and what power He holds.
When we know that God is the alpha and omega and the highest power that there is, we should set our faces like stone to do His will.
And we shouldn’t allow anything or anyone to distract us from what God has called us to do.
Because apart from Him, our plans will go to ruin.
But when we get with His program, He will be faithful to see us to glory.
When we truly love God, doing His will should feel like an honor and a privilege.
Because we know that when it’s all said and done, He will not allow us to go to shame.
He will stand by us 100% every step of the way until He’s completed His divine work through us.
Be blessed,
Alexia
Prayer: God, I pray that you would keep me stone-faced and dead set on doing your will no matter what. Help me to get with your divine program so I can accomplish the tasks you’ve assigned to me while I’m alive on this earth. I live to love and please you because I know your goodness and power are eternal. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
Please 🙏 for me as I struggle with a family situation. I know God has me where he wants me. Thx
I will definitely be praying for you!! Keep holding on! God’s got it!!
Amen 🙏🏾 I pray daily that I would love according to God’s will because my life is not my own. I have to sacrifice my life daily and desire what God would have for me. It’s not always easy but it’s so worth it!
