She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. – Proverbs 31: 25-26

Proverbs 31 paints the most vivid picture of what it means to be a godly woman in the entire bible.

The virtuous woman is not a frail creature who can’t lift a finger without fainting.

Nor is she vain, rude, foolish, or fearful.

The virtuous woman commands respect and she’s strong, wise, courageous, kind, and compassionate.

She carries herself with dignity and is the type of woman a child needs to grow into a healthy adult.

And the type of wife a man needs to operate at his best.

All throughout the book of Proverbs, Solomon cautions his son against falling for the immoral woman because her path leads to death.

But a woman who fears God is a gift that keeps on giving to everyone around her!

So we should all seek to surround ourselves with virtuous women to help us grow and to be a nurturing support for us in times of distress.

Because a woman who is grounded in Christ is pure, precious gold!

Be blessed,

Alexia

Prayer for women: God, thank you for Word that gives me guidance and instruction on how to be a virtuous woman of Christ. Guide my heart and my steps daily so that I may brighten the lives of everyone I come into contact with. Help me to light the path for younger generations of women so that they can see what it looks like to be a noble woman of God. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.

Prayer for men: God, thank you for the virtuous women you’ve placed in my life, and help me to always be appreciative of them. Teach me how to support and take care of the most important women in my life. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
