Everything has already been decided. It was known long ago what each person would be. So there’s no use arguing with God about your destiny. – Ecclesiastes 6: 10

Question: If someone were to ask you if you were an optimist or a pessimist, what would you tell them?

Off the top of our heads, I think most of us would say we’re pretty optimistic, but that we also have the tendency to worry from time to time.

However, if we look at that question from a spiritual perspective, we may conclude that we’re neither.

Because as children of God, we know that He’s promised us everything would work for our good and that through our faith in Christ Jesus, we’ve secured eternal life in heaven.

We may not understand everything that happens, and certain things may puzzle us, but when we’re rooted in Christ, we never have to question what our destiny will be.

And we certainly don’t need to argue with God about it when in His infinite wisdom, He’s already carved out the best pathways for our lives.

So we must learn to take things as they come and understand that nothing happens by chance.

God has predestined us to be victorious.

So if someone ever asks us about our outlook on life, we should just tell them that God’s already worked it out.

Through our faith in Christ, everything has already taken care of itself!

Be blessed,

Alexia

Prayer: God, thank you for taking care of my life so I never have to worry about my destiny. I accept with open arms whatever destiny you’ve planned for me while I walk this earth because I know you’ve designed me to be a conqueror in Christ. In my moments of doubt and uncertainty, help me to look to you for assurance and peace, and remind me that you alone hold all the power. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
