Isaiah 43:18-19 – Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

There’s no doubt that 2020 will go down in history as one of the most difficult and tragic years of our lifetime. But now that it’s over, I believe we have something so much brighter to look forward to.

Millions have lost their lives due to the pandemic, and millions more mourn, but God knows how to make beauty from ashes, so we must look to the future with hope and faith because we know that He is ever-present and all-powerful.

He can turn tragedy into triumph and tears of sorrow into tears of joy…

So on this first day of 2021, take a moment to thank God for carrying you through 2020.

Reflect on the things you’ve learned and the ways God has shaped you in the past year.

Then ask God to make a road in any wilderness that exists in your life. Ask Him to allow rivers to flow in any desert area of your spirit. Pray for a renewed purpose and the strength and discipline to accomplish your goals in the new year.

Do your best to forget your mistakes and press against anything you feel is holding you back.

Our God is a God of progression and creation. And He’s always weaving our experiences in this world to create a beautiful tapestry for His highest good.

Did you not know that?

Prepare space in your heart for the new thing God will do for you and in this world in 2021!

Have a Happy New Year and be BLESSED!!!

Sincerely,

Alexia
