In the future, foreigners who do not belong to your people Israel will hear of you…they will hear of your great name and your strong hand and your powerful arm. And when they pray toward this Temple, then hear from heaven where you live, and grant what they ask of you. – 1 Kings 8: 41-43

Isn’t it amazing that God made Himself available to all nations even before the coming of Christ?

He’s always been an equal opportunity God and His love is truly unconditional and immeasurable.

And it’s His desire that all people would seek Him and develop a relationship with Him – no matter what walk of life they come from or what type of sin they’ve committed.

There’s no sin that can’t be covered and washed away by the precious blood of Christ.

Once someone has a life-changing encounter with the one true living God and they genuinely accept Jesus Christ into their heart, they belong to the Kingdom of Heaven for all of eternity.

  • Even the mother who murdered her children
  • Even the man who’s serving a life-sentence for shooting up a church
  • Even the predator who abused children for decades

When someone invites Jesus into their heart to rule and reign, they become completely new creatures and there’s no turning back.

The Apostle Paul is a prime example of this.

He murdered Christians with pure, unapologetic hatred. But when he met Christ for himself, he was purified and made whole by God’s eternal love.

And he went on to become the most prolific writer of the entire New Testament.

So we should never wrack ourselves with guilt when we know we belong to God, and we should understand that we don’t have a heaven or hell to put anybody in.

Should anyone seek the Father and ask for His loving forgiveness, He will be faithful to grant it to them.

Be blessed,

Alexia

Prayer: God, thank you so much for being a God who loves indiscriminately and unconditionally. I’m so grateful that you love me despite my many flaws and imperfections. And if there’s any spirit of judgment in my heart that causes me to condemn others, I pray that you cast it out so I can better reflect the spirit of Christ. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
