Do you realize that every single one of the almost 8 billion people breathing on the planet right now will eventually pass away?

It’s not something we like to think about on a regular basis, but it’s true.

We all have an expiration date and none of us know the day or hour we will expire. Tomorrow is never promised.

So we must do our best to live in love each and every day, forgiving everyone for everything, apologizing when we’re wrong, helping those who need help, and choosing to spread joy.

We must renew our minds and hearts in Christ daily and not waste any time when striving toward our calling.

Because when it’s all said and done and we’re no longer walking on this earth, we will have to give an account to God for how we’ve lived our lives.

And the LAST thing we want Jesus to say to us is “I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.”

We must allow the Holy Spirit to guide our lives every day so that when we leave our earthly bodies, God will welcome us into heaven and say “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”

Our lives are but a vapor, so we must prioritize our relationship with Christ above everything else.

Because as far as we’re concerned, He’s the only one that matters.

Be blessed,

Alexia

Prayer: God, teach me how to put things into perspective and understand that life is short. Fill me up with your Holy Spirit and increase me in Christ-like character so that I will live a life that is pleasing to you. While I am here on this earth, use me every day as a vessel to accomplish your purpose. My life belongs to you and I will worship you forever. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.

Amen Alexia. Yet another verse that has helped put things in perspective for me. Yes we don’t like to think about it, but one thing that’s sure in life is death and I want myself and loved ones to spend eternity with the Father so I will spread His Word whenever I can.
